Join us in Ottawa to celebrate both Canada Day and the RCAF Centennial with a Mass Flypast of RCAF aircraft of the past, present and future. Don’t miss Canada’s largest military air parade in decades!
On 1 July 2024, Canada Day will be celebrated across the country and by Canadians abroad. To mark this national holiday, and in honour of the RCAF Centennial, there will be dozens of aircraft participating in a Flypast over Ottawa. Commencing at approximately 1300 hrs, RCAF aircraft of the past, present and future will fly by three locations in Ottawa: starting just south of the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum, continuing West over Parliament Hill, and then flying over LeBreton Flats Park where the formal Canada Day ceremony will occur. To be enjoyed nationwide, this spectacular flypast will be broadcast live on CBC and Radio-Canada.
The Canadian Forces (CF) Snowbirds and the SkyHawks Canadian Armed Forces parachute team will both be taking part in the main ceremony at LeBreton Flats and will also perform a display over Parliament Hill later in the afternoon.
