In partnership with Winterlude and Veteran Affairs Canada, Winterlude 2024 will see the commemoration of the RCAF Centennial reach new heights.

The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Centennial in 2024 marks a century of aviation excellence and national service, highlighting the RCAF’s pivotal role in Canada’s defence and international commitments. This milestone provides an opportunity for reflection on the RCAF’s enduring legacy, spanning a century of innovation, bravery, and resilience.

Seamlessly connecting the present moment with a century of aerial prowess, while highlighting the strength and commitment of people at the forefront, Winterlude will see a whole litany of RCAF centered activities such as an ice sculpture, live ice sculpting, interpretive panels, a Snow Wall, and a youth ice mosaic.
