On 1 April 2024, the Royal Canadian Air Force marked 100 years of service as a distinct military element. The Centennial milestone provided the RCAF a unique position to honour its distinct heritage, recognize its tremendous people, and generate excitement for its bright future.
The RCAF Run is a Centennial legacy activity that connects current and former military and their families with Canadians, at home or abroad, through sports and fitness. The event is an opportunity to experience both the camaraderie and aircraft that make RCAF unique. We welcome participants of ALL abilities and fitness levels to achieve your fitness goals at your own pace!

A: You may transfer your event via your Race Roster Participant Dashboard. Please note the transfer deadline is April 30.
A: All entry fees are non-refundable. You can, however, transfer your registration to another person no later than April 30.
A: All registrations include a finisher’s medal and an in-person event registration also includes a tote bag. You have the opportunity to purchase additional package items such as a shirt, hat or socks during the registration process for an additional fee.
Run bibs for any distance or package are NOT included in the virtual registration. Bibs may be included in your in-person package and is at the discretion of the local organizing committee.
A: ALL race kits for participants who are registered for the virtual RCAF Run event will be shipped directly to the shipping address indicated in your registration. ALL race kits for in-person event participants will pick-up their race kit on-site prior to or at the event. Please see event details specific to your location.
A: Race kits will begin shipping to registered participants early May 2026 and will continue to be shipped as participants register. Packages should then be delivered within 14 days of registration. International shipping, or remote locations may take longer. If you have not received your package within a reasonably timely manner, please contact us at rcafrun@outlook.com.
A: A virtual race is a race you can run at any location, at your pace, outside or on a treadmill, alone or with a group of friends.
A: You can complete your virtual race any day, any time during the race completion period (5 June – 21 June, 2026).

People are the heart of the Royal Canadian Air Force and our 2023 RCAF Run participants showed up with an abundance of it this year in support of The Centennial Fund. The 2023 event was our largest and most successful event to date with the assistance of RCAF Run sponsors BMO, The Personal, The Legion and Canadian Tire.
