100 Coins to 100 Canadians is a RCAF Centennial initiative to recognize 100 Canadians with a special edition RCAF Centennial coin for their demonstration of RCAF values.

100 Coins to 100 Canadians is a RCAF Centennial initiative to recognize 100 Canadians with a special edition RCAF Centennial coin for their demonstration of RCAF values. Distribution of the coins is being done with the assistance of Wings across Canada selecting candidates from their immediate and neighboring communities who embody the selection criteria below:
Projected Values
Persons whose behavior exhibits the spirit of the Royal Canadian Air Force, which is captured within the Canadian Armed Forces Ethos. Specifically, values demonstrated should be in the realms of Loyalty, Integrity, Courage, Excellence, Inclusion or Accountability.
Action
Persons who are worthy of recognition for the positive impact they have generated within their community.
We are eternally appreciative to our community and the individuals to whom we serve for their support and are grateful for this opportunity to share and celebrate the RCAF Centennial milestone with them.
Displayed below is a the list of individuals who have been recognized, to date, with a commemorative RCAF Centennial coin.
Steve Morine
An active community member, Steve Morine contributes to local charities such as Valley Regional Hospital, Ronald McDonald house and Aldershot elementary school.
Jennifer Hierlihy
The epitome of social responsibility, Jennifer Hierlihy volunteers as the Director of Gander PRIDE and as the Secretary of Gander’s Housing and Homelessness Hub. A champion for human rights and for meaningful inclusion, when crisis strikes, Jenn inspires her community into action. An example was an extended power outage in 2023 when Jenn mobilized a small team to provide meals, groceries, and gift cards to those most affected.
Hariett Madigan
Hariett Madigan was selected as a result of her efforts and support of Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay - an initiative looking to foster stewardship of their land, water, and community with a focus of raising civic pride and enhancing the beauty of their whole city.
Royale Gaviola
Royale Gaviola was selected for community service through local participation in Civil Area Search and Rescue Association, and development of youth through volunteer work at Annapolis Valley Flight Training Centre and Royal Canadian Air Cadets 615 Bluenose Squadron.
