The leadership of the RCAF is responsible for developing, generating, and maintaining operationally ready air and space capabilities and personnel. They are highly engaged in ensuring the morale and welfare of all members to maintain a strong and resilient Air Force.
There are fifteen RCAF wings located across Canada. They report to either 1 Canadian Air Division/Canadian NORAD Region, 2 Canadian Air Division or 3 Canadian Space Division. Wings are comprised of operational and support units. Each wing includes squadrons that perform specific tactical roles.
Families have been a centre of gravity for RCAF members for almost a century. The selfless support these families provide allows our members to maintain focus and operate safely and effectively. Families truly are integral to the success of the military mission and are the strength behind the uniform. There are hundreds of programs and services to help CAF families thrive during even the most challenging times.
